This is actually just the end of a poem called, "Breathe" by Becky Hemsley...
And she stopped…
and she heard what the trees said to her,
And she sat there for hours not wanting to leave,
For the forest said nothing, it just let her breathe

I take a few things from these powerful words...
🧘 NATURE is part of US - It NEEDS to be allowed in. We are ignorant in our modern world, of the power that nature provides our human physiology. Not ignorant in the information and proof that it's powerful, but in the DOING. Getting outside on a REGULAR basis, even just for a 10-15min stint, as a priority in our health can positively impact on our wellbeing. Period.
🧘 "...It just let her breathe". When do we allow ourselves to just breathe? No stimulus or information flowing into our mind and/or eyeballs just for a minute or two. Nothing but tuning into our own body and just breathing. We NEED to allow ourselves this time REGULARLY to experience the benefit to our wellbeing.
🧘 "... The forest said nothing". We live in a world where "everyone has the answers". Sometimes the power of NOTHING provides much deeper answers;
...a friend just needs an ear - not answers.
...a family member just needs a hug - not answers.
...someone just needs your prescence nearby - not answers.
In a world of constant "noise", "NOTHING" is rare and "NOTHING" is often what we need MOST.
