My name is Stephanie. I’m a fun-loving yogi with a passion for connecting with others. Movement has always been a cornerstone of my life—a way to play, express myself, heal, and grow. These elements inspire my teaching philosophy, which I’m so excited to share with you.
Though I’ve always been naturally flexible, my love for yoga didn’t truly bloom until my mid-twenties. My first yoga class—a hot Moksha Flow session during graduate school—was transformative. I’ll never forget walking into that 90-degree room, finding my space among 40+ other bodies, and feeling both vulnerable and at home. That experience sparked a journey of self-discovery that continues to this day.
After earning my Master’s degree in Human Kinetics, I pursued my 200-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training, and the rest is history! Now, as a Registered Kinesiologist, I bring my education and passion together to create thoughtful, supportive classes tailored for every body and ability. Early in my teaching career, I discovered that yoga is much more than physical postures. It’s a powerful way to create community and hold space for those navigating life’s challenges. My mission is to help others carve out time from the daily hustle to find connection, breath, and balance on their mats. Over the years I have deepened my learnings and have expanded my offerings to include yoga, sound meditation, somatic breathwork, and energy work.

🛌 According to Precision Nutrition; studies suggest that people who sleep fewer than 6 hours per night gain almost twice as much weight over a 6-year period as people who sleep 7 to 8 hours per night.
🛌 Excessive sleep isn’t necessarily better: those who sleep more than 9 hours per night have similar body composition outcomes as those who sleep less than 6 hours.
... But this is just body composition conversation. Lack of QUALITY and QUANTITY of sleep also leads to;
👉 Increased physiological stress
👉 Less focus and concentration
👉 Poor energy and less desire to move our body
👉 Reduced decision making capabilities
and other side effects that become our daily "norm". This "new normal" creates struggle in our best efforts with our health habits, because we are working from a "lack of recovery state".

"Redefining Strong"
2x weekly, 30min small group sessions geared to ages 60yrs+
The concept of aging and strength is misconstrued. The belief that "it's just old age" is most often NOT true. It's that we STOP doing the things that keep us healthy, active and full of life that makes us feel sluggish, low confidence and incapable of doing movements/activities throughout our days.
These sessions will help participants feel strong, mobile and capable, while proving it doesn't need to be complicated, long or feel awful. At the same time learning we can't approach it in a fragile way.
This class is not a competition. This class is about learning, taking action and enjoying the process all at the same time.

The often overlooked daily habits that allow us to cultivate a healthy lifestyle, without stressing about our nutrition, the way we're seemingly led to do in the age of "information overload". This workshop will help filter through the noise and set you on a path that works for you!
