I'm NOT here to "hold your hand" as your
Health & Wellness Coach
Neither is your physiotherapist, your doctor, your chiropractor, your athletic therapist, your massage therapist...
YOU have to TAKE CHARGE of YOUR health.

I am here to HELP YOU, help YOURSELF
My clients who have been the most succesful in creating the lifestyle habits they want are the ones who have the conversations, share their thoughts and mindsets relating to their health and wellbeing, share changes in their body / medical symptoms or changes when they come up (not months later), and those who put the work in when their coach isn't around. The clients who treat this as a lifestyle change for the long haul, rather than something they do once or twice a week when they go see someone.
I am here to hold you accountable. Especially early on.
HOWEVER, we want to move forward with the intention of YOU holding YOURSELF accountable more and more as we progress our time together. Ultimately THAT is the sustainable way to health! A coach can help you with this over time.
I am not here to do the work for you.
I am here to discuss your discomforts, struggles, habits, mindset etc. 100%!! But to have the same discussion over and over - NOPE! I'm not here for you to complain over and over without effort to CHANGE something. Your Health & Wellness Coach, physio, doctor etc are absolutely passionate about having conversations regarding your struggles, discomforts etc. We can help you GET over that "bump in the road" as you create positive change for yourself. However, when you keep having the SAME complaints and SAME conversations with the professional you hired (and most likely others around you), that is an opportunity to CHECK IN WITH YOURSELF to ask yourself "What am I doing to create a CHANGE for myself?". We hopefully can help you with that and help you learn that CHANGE doesn't have to be scary, but ultimately YOU have to put in that work to make change happen!
I am here to HELP YOU learn to FILTER THROUGH THE "NOISE".
A big part of our job as professionals now a days is to help our clients "filter through the noise". There's ALOT of information out there. Helpful and "not-so-helpful". As your Health & Wellness Coach, I can help guide you to what makes sense in YOUR lifestyle and NEEDS RIGHT NOW, and help you learn how to not let "the rest" negatively impact your best efforts. Part of learning how to EMPOWER YOURSELF is to re-learn how to TRUST YOURSELF. When we put all of our accountability on ONE person (external of ourselves), we are NOT building that SELF-TRUST. When we ALLOW any or all information (helpful or not) in on a REGULAR BASIS, we are ignoring our own physiology in favour of the external world. Health professionals CAN help you learn to BUILD YOUR FILTER, but ultimately we CAN'T / WON'T hold your hand in progressing your health forward.
We WILL walk beside our clients.
We WILL support, encourage, educate and offer guidance.
We DON'T make things happen.
YOU DO!
YOURSELF.
And when you connect with that fact - Nothing will hold you back from creating the healthy lifestyle we all want to live.
