Fact: The Internet is Most Likely Your Biggest Barrier

I'm not going to spend too much time here, though I could talk about this forever (as most health and wellness practitioners probably could today).


The internet (i.e. "Dr Google", social media and the algorithms that put things on your screen, in front of your face and take up your time, energy and attention every day) is MOST likely your biggest barrier in your health and wellbeing. Period.


Can they be helpful? Sure they can. It has it's place. But we ARE NOT using them in a helpful way 99% of the time. We're using them COMPULSIVELY and driving ourselves DEEPER into confusion, lack of action and further from understanding our OWN INDIVIDUAL PHYSIOLOGY. We have no idea what OUR OWN body is wanting, needing and what works for us in any way today because 99% of our attention is EXTERNAL.


Do you know what's common about the clients and conversations that happen, for those who feel the most stuck or lost?


🫣They're using Google to "research symptoms" or discover "the answers to all their questions/concerns"...

🫣They're giving their time, energy and attention to influencers, gurus and anyone else who says "eat this" or "do this exercise" on their social feeds...

🫣They're scrolling socials (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook etc) rather than doing something for themeselves...

🫣They're listening to all the "should do's" ...

🫣They're throwing 10, 20, 50+ different things all at once they "have to do" for their health because they saw it, read it or heard it online or from someone else (i.e. "chasing too many rabbits")


... This is "Normal".


But guess what? "Normal" is NOT where health lies today.

STOP being "normal" and you'll discover your deep health improves.

Here's what all of these cyberspaces DON'T know about YOU...


👉Your health history, family history, life experiences and current lifestyle

👉Your likes and dislikes

👉Your "willing to do's" and "won't do's"

👉Your ability level RIGHT NOW / Where you're at capability wise RIGHT NOW (that doesn't mean just physically)

👉What you're currently feeling, thinking, experiencing, your beliefs, your goals... (i.e. who YOU ARE as a human being)


These are ALL IMPORTANT factors in cultivating the health and lifestyle YOU WANT. Emphasis on YOU.



FINAL FACT

(Yes, that's BIGGER than a thought by the way 😉)

If we put as much time into OUR OWN INDIVIDUAL deep health as we did scrolling and searching, our "norm" in society today would be VERY different in a VERY positive way.
